THE PALACE OF NKANDLA HOMESTEAD

NKANDLA

TUG -

OF-WAR

from the left: President Jacob Zuma and Thuli Madonsela ( Public protector

A report was released on the controversial Nkandla report compiled by the public protector Thuli Madonsela. On the report Thuli Madonsela found that President Jacob Zuma and his family had benefited from the R246 million spent on the upgrades. She then requested that President Jacob Zuma pays back the money.

MR President On the other hand contradicts himself..

President Jacob Zuma last said :"how I'm  I  supposed to know the book counting of a departments and count figures? and said that that would be asking for too much". How do people expect me to know the figures? He added that it is not his job to do the math, He also claimed that the figures do not belong to him.  more ..

The truth of the matter as stated by the public protector Thuli Madonsela..

“The norms were there but were acceded to the bounds of the law. You can’t do as u please, you must know there are laws. And public resources are primary  for the benefit of the people not for the people that work for the government’

Nkandla ( homestead , Kwazulu Natal )
Minenhle  Makhanya Architect for the Nkandla homestead

Who will take the blame ?

Is the president looking for someone else to lay the blame on or what?  The reason I point out this question is because now the focus is on the Architect Minenhle Makhanya ,for what?  YES, maybe he saw an opportunity to make money. But who is really to be held accountable? How long will this case drag on? At a later stage it was said that taking pictures of the Nkandla was illegal,
really now...  Can President Jacob Zuma just pay back the money please …

  1. Nkandla is a typical example of how corruption has grown. The anc government is seems to be more of a money generating scheme rather than a 'people's party'. Zuma knows exactly where the money came from and he needed more, hence we have e-tolls. Nkandla was well planned and well budgeted for. You can't build a house and not know how much it will cost. Pay back the money Zuma

  5. I don't see any success within this country i mean now everything that happening is based on corruptions. Our on leader the people who we were supposed to be looking up upon are the ones who are bringing our country down. Is this what was Mandela fighting for? i think its time now that we step down ANC as a leading party because really now things are falling apart Zuma doesn't deserve the position his in he must just step down!!!!

  6. I think the president's home must be auctioned and all proceeds should go back to the state. The architect should not be blamed for anything because he worked on orders given my his employer

  7. You have a point there I think that could work actually because even if he does step down he will still have all the assets .

  8. Nkandla saga, very controversial topic, President doesn't want to take responsibility of his impulsive buying. I think the people of South Africa have had enough from President Zuma, Nkandla is just the tip of the ice berg, corruption allegations, rape allegations, we have putting up with too much...but that's just my opinion!!

  9. Jacob Zuma receievs enough money, and he is able to afford anything he wants.Greedy leaders don't look at the interest of their people, but only look out for their own interest, and that's exactly what Zuma did,the Nklandla is only benefiting his family and not the people of South Africa.

    1. I suppose you can say that one can never have enough money . No matter how rich you can be, you will still want more I guess that is the case with president Zuma .
